Egg-citing

Juliann and I dyed eggs tonight for the first time. I let Juliann pick out the kit and she has been asking me every night since we bought it to dye the eggs. She was super "egg-cited" when I told her we could do it tonight. We went outside so we wouldn't make a mess. She enjoyed dropping the eggs in the cups. Juliann's dyed eggs drying...
Proud of her finished product (we need to work on smiling on cue for pictures)

Stroll and Stride

Saturday morning, we participated in the Hospice - 5K Stroll and Stride. It was great weather! Jeff took Juliann in a stroller and I took Caroline. Jeff and Juliann were the first stroller to cross the finish line!!! Here is Juliann running to the finish line with me. Caroline enjoyed the ride and decided to take a nap. Juliann and her best friend - Owen posing for the camera
After the race, they had a lot of things for the kids to enjoy. Juliann got to jump in a jump house, get a tatoo on her hand, get her face painted, and get a balloon. Here she is with the Easter Bunny.

She went on a ride with some friends.
Juliann got a medal for coming in first place in her stroller (Thanks Daddy!).
Caroline and Juliann saw Popo (Caroline's baby sitter's husband). The girls love Nana and Popo! We are so fortunate to have them in our lives. They treat the girls like their own grandchildren.
After the race, we went and visited some friends who were participating in the cook-off. The girls were wore out after their long, fun day.

Easter Eggstravaganza

Last weekend, YaYa took the girls to see the Easter bunny. They did everything very quickly, before the rain came. Juliann had a blast! She called and told us about all the fun things she got to do. Here she is petting some bunnies and chicks. YaYa, Juliann, and Caroline with the Easter bunny. Juliann was so proud of herself for taking a picture with him. She said she wasn't even scared. She likes the Easter bunny.
Hunting eggs
Caroline enjoyed the festivities too!
Juliann got her face painted (and didn't want to wash it off so she could show Mommy and Daddy), she got to jump in a jump house, painted an egg, and made a bunny picture with her handprints.
Thank you YaYa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spring Break

Spring Break went by way to fast. We were busy doing something every day. On Saturday we had my sister's baby shower. It was beautiful! I think Jennifer and Jayson have almost everything they need. They are just waiting for May when Connor is due to arrive. Here are a couple pictures from the shower.

Then on Monday I took Caroline to the doctor for her 9 month check-up. She is growing fast. Tuesday, I took the girls to Victoria. Juliann and I had a dentist appt. and we did a little shopping. On Wednesday, I took the girls to the museum. They had a blast playing with their friends. I think we will be spending a lot of time there this summer. Here are some pictures from the museum.
Then on Friday afternoon, Jeff and I headed to College Station. We went to The Tap to meet a few friends to watch the basketball game. Then we headed to Justin & Leslie's. We got to play with baby Eden. She is adorable! And Leslie and Justin made us a delicious dinner of shrimp tacos. On Saturday, we had to go eat at Wings-n-More for lunch. Then we went to Jamie and Mindy's wedding. It was a blast! It was great to see and visit with everyone. Here are a few pictures from the wedding...

We had a great time Saturday night. Sunday for lunch we headed to Freebirds (yum!!!) before leaving town. It was great to hang out with everyone. Sometimes I miss living there and hanging out with they gang. I especially miss those Thursday night dinners every week. I'm looking forward to the next reunion!
