Sea World

After coming home from Port A, we spent Wednesday in El Campo washing clothes and repacking while Jeff went to work.  Thursday morning we got up bright and early, picked up Yaya and Papi and headed to San Antonio.
 We enjoyed watching Azul.
Caroline, rode her first roller coaster ride, Journey to Atlantis.  She is in the back row between Jeff and I.  She said she liked it and would do it again.  Her eyes got real big when we dropped.

Of course, we had to watch Shamu.
Uncle Doc and I took the girls to feed the dolphins.

We watched a 4-D movie and got cooled off.

Uncle Doc came and met us at Sea World.
Caroline took a cat nap with Yaya, while we rode a ride.

After a long day at Sea World, we headed to Uncle Doc and Aunt Nikki's for yummy pizza and to crash for the night.  It was a wonderful family vacation.  Friday morning, the guys went and played golf while us girls did a little shopping.  That evening, Jeff and I left the girls in San Antonio and headed to Gruene to watch the Gourds with our friends from College Station.

Our Final Days in Port A

Monday morning, Jeff, Bobby, Nikki and Michael went on a guided fishing trip and fared quite well with 38 trout.  They enjoyed their guide.  They said that everytime he casted his line out, he would hook a fish.

Sylvia and I took the girls to the pool.
That afternoon, we all enjoyed swimming.  Aunt Nikki was teaching Juliann new swimming skills.

After swimming, we all cleaned up and headed to the beach to attempt some family pictures before going out to eat dinner.

After dinner, we headed to the the beach and the girls enjoyed a night swim in the pool.  Tuesday morning, we packed everything up and headed to the beach, one final time.
The family worked hard on building a sand castle.
Caroline is probably kill me for this picture when she is older.  She enjoyed going to the bathroom in the ocean.

Juliann buried Yaya in the soft sand.
Daddy worked hard on the sandcastle that had a moat and even a bridge that the water went under.

Juliann buried Caroline, too.
Before heading out of town, we had to stop for a picture and souvenirs.
Thank you Yaya and Papi for a fun and memorable vacation!  We loved it and hope to do it again next year!

Port Aransas - Sunday

Sunday morning, we headed to Port Royal to begin the next part of our vacation.  When we arrived, we couldn't check into our room, so we headed to the beach.
 Aunt Nikki and Juliann
Caroline feel asleep on the way to the beach, so enjoyed a nice nap in the car.
Yaya enjoyed her dip in the ocean.

The girls helped Uncle Doc and Aunt Nikki build a sand castle.
The guys tried their luck at fishing.

Then it was time for mud baths.

That evening, we enjoyed a yummy lasagna dinner in the condo.
The girls trying out Uncle Doc and Aunt Nik's glasses.
