Christmas at Meme and Papa's

The Sunday before Christmas, we all went to morning mass an then to Meme and Papa's to celebrate Christmas.  We had a yummy lunch and enjoyed spending time with each other.

Time to open gifts...  Luke and Connor were excited about their new dress up clothes.  Juliann loves her new scooter and fishing shirt.  Caroline got a mermaid costume and seat pet.  They also got a toob to use at the bay.  We can't wait for summer to come so we can try it out.

Aren't they cute!!!

Christmas with Cousins

Before Christmas, we had a Christmas lunch with Rylan to exchange gifts.

On Christmas Day, all of the grandkids made crafts and played games instead of exchanging gifts this year.  First they made and decorated Christmas trees.

Brooke made sugar cookies that we enjoyed decorating.

And then of course, their were a few gifts to enjoy!

Santa's Surprise Visit

On Christmas Eve, while we were at church, Santa delivered gifts to our house.  The girls were shocked.  Juliann went and crawled in bed because she thought she had to go to sleep before she could open gifts.  Yaya, Papi, Meme and Papa all came over for dinner and then watched the girls open gifts.  The girls were convinced that they were getting a TV in the big box that was not wrapped.

First, they dug into their stockings to find goodies.

Surprise, it's not a TV, it's an air hockey table.

Juliann was excited about her new iPod touch!

Caroline can't wait to swim in her new mermaid tail!

Caroline said she was ready to go running with me since we now have matching running shoes.

A Tree for Church

Jeff's parents had the opportunity to pick out the Christmas tree for church this year and decorate it.  They invited us to join in the fun experience. The girls went with Yaya and Papi to the Dewberry Farm to pick out the perfect tree.

And of course, they had to participate in all the fun while they were there.

The next weekend, we went back to the Dewberry Farm with them to cut down the tree.  (I can't find pictures of this).  Then we decorated it right before Christmas.  This was an amazing experience and the girls enjoyed looking at the tree every time we went to church.

Father Albert stopped by while we were decorating.
