Red Wave Swim Team

Juliann swam on the Red Wave Swim Team this summer.  This was her first year.  She enjoyed all of it and continued to improve all season.  Her strongest swim was the backstroke.  The girls placed in the medley relay in Richmond/Rosenberg.

Juliann and Riley's relay team made it to state.  The events were held in Bryan.  We decided to take a tour of Blue Bell on our way to the state swim meet.  We didn't get to go on a tour because we would have to wait for a couple of hours, but we did enjoy some ice cream in the parlor.

We went to the opening ceremonies, which were held on Olsen Field.

The girls ended up with 11th place in their relay.  The team members were Allison Valejo, Riley Wallis, Jillian Croix, and Juliann.

Guess who turned five?

Caroline turned 5 on June 1st.  We had cheese roll for birthday cake.  She is in love with the movie Frozen and wanted anything that had to do with the movie.

Caroline & Rylan celebrated their birthdays together again this year.  They wanted a swimming party.  We had the party at Recie and Lynn's house.  Everyone had a blast on the big water slide.

SUMMER FUN!!!

We've had lots of fun this summer!  We spent time at the bay.  We traveled to watch Juliann swim with the Red Wave swim team (More on this in an upcoming post).  Caroline took swim lessons with Mrs. Liz.  We went to Lost Pines in Bastrop with the Henke and Key families.  It was a very enjoyable trip for everyone.
