Our Christmas Celebrations

Christmas morning, Caroline woke up early... guess she couldn't wait to see what Santa brought her and Juliann. So we went and woke Juliann up and the girls sat in their chairs waiting to open all their gifts!!!Juliann was super excited when she got a Dora doll!!!
Caroline loved "Howdy", the bouncing cow!!!

When Juliann saw all the gifts in the living room, she was a little disappointed when she didn't see the jeep she asked for. She then turned it around and said, "That's okay, maybe I can get a jeep for my birthday!" And with a smile, she opened all her presents. When we were finished we found a note from Santa. He said he had a gift for them, but it wouldn't fit down the chimney, so he left it in the garage. Juliann knew right away that it was the Dora Jeep! They had fun trying it out in the garage!
After opening gifts, we went to Aunt Connie's in Garwood for my mom's side. It was great to see and visit with everyone. All my cousins were there!! We got a picture of all the kids, minus Connor :( he wasn't there yet.
Top row: Alli, Makenzie, Juliann, Jaylie
Bottom row: Cade, Taryn, Caroline, Colton, Colby, and Karlee
Then we loaded up and went to Yaya's and Papi's. The girls had a big surprise waiting when the got there. The girls were excited about the new swing set!!! They did not want to quit playing on it, but it was a little chilly!
Caroline convinced Yaya to take her out to swing a little more. Aren't the "Little" eskimos cute!
Then we opened presents. Juliann was excited about the golf clubs she got from Uncle Doc and Aunt Nikki! She can't wait for her Daddy to take her to play golf at the Country Club!!
We had a great time at the Little house, but we sure did miss Aunt Katie and Uncle Nathan. We are looking forward to spending Christmas with you guys next Christmas!!!
On Sunday, we went to my parents to celebrate Christmas. Connor and I enjoyed reading a book together.
There were lots of presents at Meme and Papa's house. Here is a picture of Connor and his loot!

Here is Papa with all of his gifts!! He really must have been a good boy this year!
Caroline loved opening presents this year. All she wanted to do was open one gift after another!! The girls got way too many gifts from everyone!! Here is Caroline
and her fun new toy.
After all the gift opening, we went outside to let the kids play. Connor and Caroline enjoyed riding in the wagon, while Juliann rode in the jeep!!
We had a wonderful Christmas!! It was great to spend time with family!! We are so blessed!!! Hope everyone had a Merry CHRISTmas!!!

Christmas Eve

We went to church on Christmas Eve. The girls were ready to go!! After church, we came back to the house to get dinner ready. Meme, Papa, Yaya, and Papi all came to eat with us!! Our family picture after church.
The girls were so excited and couldn't wait to open presents. Caroline did start to open one of her gifts, but Juliann caught her and told on her.
Jeff and Juliann sprinkled out the reindeer food so Santa could find our house.
The girls had fun playing with Yaya's hat she wore since it was raining!

Ready for Christmas!!

Wednesday, Rylan and Connor came over with their Mommies for a cousin Christmas! We actually got all the kids to look at one time!! They had fun playing together. Thanks for the gifts Rylan!

After our guests left, we made some chocolate covered pretzels. Caroline loved them!! Can you tell?
We can't wait for all the other family gatherings to come!

Juliann's Christmas Fun

Last week, Juliann's school held their annual Christmas Pagent. I love watching the 3 & 4 year olds perform before the pagent starts. Juliann enjoyed playing an instrument this year. She got to jingle some bells!!
This was her favorite part!!
Friday morning, they had their Christmas party. They had fun racing to make the adults look like Santa.
Then they each got to open a gift. They all had a great time and couldn't wait to see what everyone got!

Snip, Snip!!

Saturday, we all went to the beauty shop. Juliann has been wanting to get her hair cut for a while. She kept asking and we finally gave in. She wanted to cut it short like mine. Here is a before shot. Snip, Snip!!!
Ta Da... the finshed product!!! She was so excited!!! Jeff and I think she looks older.
While we were there, we decided it was time for Caroline's first haircut. The mullet was getting longer and longer, but not the rest of her hair. She sat very still and did an excellent job!!

Taking off the mullet!!
Her hair looks much better now. Hopefully it all starts growing at the same pace!

Week in Review

Last Sunday, Juliann danced at the Christmas Mall with her dance class. They did a tap dance to "Baby, It's Cold Outside." All the girls were adorable!!
That night Jeff and Juliann enjoyed some hot chocolate by the fire.

Monday, Saint Nick came to visit the girls and left them so goodies!

That night we celebrated Daddy's birthday with family!
Juliann was so excited when she got these new pajamas that are made just like Caroline's!!
Tuesday was parent watch day at dance class. Caroline and I went to watch all the little dancers.

Friday, we took the girls to Meme's bank to see Santa again. As you can tell, Caroline did not want to be anywhere close to Santa!!
We attempted to get the cousins together with Santa.
We did get all the cousins together on the couch. They are growing so fast!

Christmas Party

Last Saturday, we hosted the 10th Annual Christmas Party at our home. We had a great time visiting with friends! We collected lots of toys to donate to little boys and girls. I always look forward to this get together - can't wait until next year's!!

Enjoy a few pictures from the party!

Check out these cousins - always so nice and full of smiles!!
We were having such a good time listening to music and visiting!! Apparently one of our neighbors thought we were having too much fun, so they called the police. A police officer came to our home and said that neighbors were complaining we were being too loud, so we had to move the party indoors. We had a great time!! Jeff went outside after the officer left to check the noise level.

It was great to see everyone who was able to make it!!
