Let's Go, Astros!

Last Sunday, we headed to Houston to watch the Astros with Aunt Jen, Uncle Jay, and Connor. The girls earned free tickets through the reading club at the library.

Juliann and Caroline talked their Daddy into getting them some cotton candy. Juliann loved it. Caroline didn't care for it.

They gave away Astros t-shirts to all the kids. Juliann wore hers proudly.

Fun with the Little Family

Saturday evening, we headed to Jeff's parents for dinner and family fun. Michael and Nikki were in from San Antonio. Yaya made a yummy dinner. Juliann helped her make homemade vanilla ice cream. Caroline got to hold B.B.

After dinner we drank our ice cream milkshakes.

We had a wonderful time! It is always great to spend time with family. We just wish Aunt Katie and Uncle Nathan could have been there too. We look forward to seeing them in a few weeks.

Look What I Can Do!

Juliann had a great first week of Kindergarten. This week, she also learned how to ride her bike without training wheels. Her Daddy was an excellent teacher! On Friday, she lost her third tooth. Today she starts soccer practice. She is growing up too fast!

Kindergarten

Juliann's first day of Kindergarten was today. She was excited that Jeff and I were both taking her to school.Caroline was ready for her first day back at Nana's.
Juliann's teacher is Mrs. Rawlinson.

She is excited about Kindergarten because now she can take a lunch. She said she enjoyed P.E. today. They played tag, but it was hot in the gym. She said they also read books. They read The Kissing Hand and got to make their handprints. It sounds like she had a great day!

Summer Vacation is Over

My mom and I took the girls to the bay this weekend. It was our last official weekend of summer before we head back to school. Juliann starts Kindergarten tomorrow and I go back to work officially on Tuesday. Jeff went out of town with the guys and my Dad had to work, so that left just us girls. We had a fun and relaxing weekend. Yesterday, we took the girls down to the beach and they enjoyed the sand and water.

When we got back from the beach, the girls helped wash the sand out of all the items we took to the beach. Then they had fun with water balloons.

Victoria

Wednesday, Jennifer and I loaded up the kids and headed to Victoria for the day. Juliann and Caroline had a dentist appointment that afternoon. Our first stop was Prasek's for breakfast.Then we headed to the Children's Museum to let the kids play.

After the Children's Museum, we headed to Chuck E Cheese. They kids had a blast!

The girls had a good report from the dentist - no cavities!
