Luke is One!!

Luke turned one on Saturday, November 24.  He had his birthday party the night before at Meme and Papa's house.  It was a blast.  On Saturday, he came with his parents to our house to eat dinner and we thought we would celebrate again.  He couldn't wait to eat that cupcake.
We had to wait on the older kids who were watching Santa feed the reindeer.  They were so excited when Santa wanted at them.  They are all waving back to Santa.
 We sang to Luke,
 then he dug in!
 Happy Birthday, Baby Luke!!

Thankful

We have so much to be thankful for!!!  Right now, I am thankful for my husband who helped me get my blog fixed so I can upload pictures again without it telling me I am out of space.
The Tuesday before Thanksgiving all of the Pre-K 3 students brought food and celebrated with a feast.  They were the cutest little Indians!  I am thankful that I was able to leave work and attend for a bit.

Thanksgiving morning, we all got dressed and ready to head to San Antonio.  They girls were ready for the ride so they could watch a movie.

We went to Uncle Doc and Aunt Nikki's house with Yaya and Papi.  It was a wonderful day.  The girls enjoyed playing football with their Daddy.

 Caroline enjoyed the hammock.
We ate a delicious meal and we were definitely stuffed!
Aunt Nikki's parents, Nancy and Tom celebrated too.
We are also thankful for our friends that came over the weekend before.  Juliann and Riley had a fun time.
And so did the little girls - Caroline, Presley, and Abby

Painting With a Twist

At the end of the first nine weeks, several current and former first grade teachers got together and we headed to Sugar Land to paint with a twist.  We had a great time and enjoyed a yummy dinner afterwards.  This is how our canvas started.
 Then we painted the background.

Here is my finished product.  The picture above me is the example that our painting was based on.
We had a great time!  I can't wait for our next get together.

Lots of Treats!

The weekend before Halloween the girls got dressed up and we went to the carnival put on by their school.  The girls had a great time while Jeff and I each worked our shifts.  Caroline was Ariel, the mermaid and Juliann was Smurfette.

Halloween morning the girls were ready to check out their treats.
Caroline got to wear her costume to school.  Her Pre-K 3 class had a parade, played games and ate food.
 Krysta and Caroline
Abby & Caroline
Caroline enjoyed playing pumpkin bowling and knocking down the ghosts.

 Caroline and Rylan
That evening, we got dressed up and headed to Aunt Jen and Uncle Jay's.  We ate pizza and then headed out to Trick or Treat.
Connor was a cute fireman.  He enjoyed walking to each house.
Caroline enjoyed the wagon ride.  She did not get out at each house.  She was content in the wagon.  When she did go to a house, she would say "Trick or Treat, Give Me Something Good to Eat"
Luke was an adorable dragon.  He did such a good job.  He loved the wagon ride!
Miss Smurfette had a blast!  She loved seeing some of her friends along the way.  She even went into a haunted house for the first time.

When we got back to the house.  I told them they could have a piece of candy.  Before I knew it, Caroline had chosen a King Size Hershey bar.  She ate a lot of it!

Of course, Juliann didn't want to be left out, so she ate her HUGE Hershey bar, too!
Then it was time to check out all their treats from everyone!
