Sea World - San Antonio

Last week, we went to San Antonio. We stayed with Michael and Nikki on Monday night and Tuesday night. While we were there, we went to Sea World on Tuesday. The girls enjoyed their day!! Juliann and I went on the Atlantis roller coaster. We sat in the front row and Juliann loved it.Then we went to watch a 4-D movie about Elmo and his friends.
We also watched the sea lion show.

Then we went to Elmo's Bay of Play. Caroline played here for about an hour. Juliann played some too, then she went to ride rides with Jeff.

When Caroline was done playing, she walked over to the stroller. I wrapped her up in her towel and held her and she shut her eyes for a while and rested. She wore herself out! Then we went to the teacup ride. It was the only one that Caroline could go on. They anxiously awaited their turn.

We watched Shamu, of course. Juliann, Nikki, Caroline and I sat in the splash zone. Caroline did not like it. She started crying. I think the salt water burned her eyes. So we left the splash zone to join Uncle Doc and Jeff.

We had a fun day! Thanks for coming with us Uncle Doc and Aunt Nikki!

Wedding in Austin

We went to Austin to celebrate Sarah and Todd's wedding. The had their reception a beautiful ranch. We took lots of photos. Hope you enjoy our photo session.

Swimming Lessons

Swimming Lessons 2009 Swimming Lessons 2010Juliann just finished her third year of swimming lessons. She is turning into a little fish.

She did very well this year. She was able to swim the length of the pool without taking a breath. She enjoys swimming under water. She was able to do the jellyfish float

and the starfish float.

She also began learning how to float on her back.

She enjoyed taking lessons with Emily and Madelyn.

We can't wait until next summer when Caroline will get to take swimming from Mrs. Liz too!

Leslie's Birthday Bash

This past weekend, we headed to College Station to celebrate Leslie's 30th Birthday! Justin surprised her by starting the morning at Messina Hof.
Justin arranged for a chef to do a private cooking show for brunch. Leslie was surprised with her friends and family being there.

The chef that made the delicious food used to work with Emeril. He made a wonderful Tawny Port fruit salad and a frittata with a crawfish cream sauce on top. The food and company were excellent!!!

After the fantastic brunch, we headed out to the vineyard for a group photo.

That afternoon we went to their neighbor's pool to continue celebrating with a pool party. We had a blast!!! It is always great visiting and seeing everyone from BCS.

Summer Fun!

Memorial Weekend we headed to the bay, like usual. The girls had a great time playing in the water.
It was very windy, but we still wanted to go out in the boat. We decided to take a ride in the canal. There was even waves in the canal, so it was a short boat trip.

We got the girls a slip-n-slide for the bay. They enjoyed their new toy. I even tried it out, but man that is a long ways down. I only did it once and my arms were sore.

The weekend wore these two little girls out! Juliann wanted to lay in Caroline's pack-n-play with her for a little while. When I checked back on them, this is what I found.
