"Little" Vacation

Last weekend, we left to New Braunsfels to float the river with Jeff's parents. The girls had a blast and so did we! Here is a picture of the girls before went floating down the Comal River. It was the first time for both girls. Juliann loved having her own tube. Caroline sat in Mommy's lap and had to have her feet dangling in the water. Caroline and I got out before the rapid, but Juliann went down with her Daddy and loved every minute of it.
Silly Papi
YaYa and Papi took Caroline to the pool while Jeff and I took Juliann to Schlitterbahn. We waited in line for two hours to ride one ride. After that we were finished with Schlitterbahn. Caroline enjoyed swimming with YaYa!
On Sunday, we went to San Antonio to stay with Aunt Nikki and Uncle Doc. When Juliann arrived, they had a surprise for her. She had her own room at their house complete with a Princess comforter and a set of drums to play. She was so excited about "her" room. Thanks, Michael and Nikki for spoiling our girls! We enjoyed getting to stay and visit with them.
On Monday, the whole gang went to Sea World for the day.
First, we went to watch Shamu perform. It was awesome!! We all enjoyed it!
Then Uncle Doc, Aunt Nikki, Juliann, and Jeff went to ride the Journey to Atlantis roller coaster. This was another first for Juliann and she loved it!!!
Aunt Nik and Uncle Doc thanks for coming with us!!
Then Michael and I took Juliann in the lazy river and down a tube waterslide while Nikki and Jeff hung out with Caroline while she was napping. Then we met up to go to the next show... Azul. This was an awesome show!!!
Mommy and Juliann rode the Shamu Express roller coaster.
Daddy and Juliann did too
On the way out, we stopped for some souvenirs. The girls each got a stuffed animal. Uncle Doc and Aunt Nikki bought Juliann a shirt and Caroline a book.
We had a wonderful day and were worn out by the time we got back to Michael and Nikki's.
Tuesday morning, we took the girls to the Children's Museum. They had a fun time playing!!

After we left the museum, we went and had lunch on the River Walk. We had a fun "little" vacation. We enjoyed spending time with Jeff's family. The girls and I are not ready for Daddy to go back to work on Monday, we enjoyed having him at home.

  2. Fun fun. It's great to have those family members to spoil the little ones. William and I better get our rear in gear and take our girls somewhere fun. I feel guilty after reading all these fun posts about trips for the kids. Sweet pictures of the girls.
