Weekend in San Antonio

Last weekend, we headed to San Antonio for a wedding.  The girls got out of school at lunch on Friday, so Jeff and I took off early so we could head out of town earlier.  That evening, Katie and Nathan flew in and we headed to meet Uncle Doc, Aunt Nikki, and her parents at a hamburger place for dinner.  We celebrated Uncle Nathan's birthday with cake after dinner.

We sang Happy Birthday and had them pretend to blow out the candles.  We did not have a lighter to light them.
That evening, the girls had fun brusing their teeth and using the pink tablets to see if they had cleaned their teeth well.  Caroline ended up swallowing hers and Juliann had pink, everywhere.  Thank God, we were at the hotel and not at home.

Saturday morning, the guys woke up early and went to play golf.  The girls stayed back and exercised at the hotel.  Then we met them for lunch at Chewy's.  After lunch we got ready for Scott and Amanda's wedding.

Check out these handsome brothers in their bow ties.

Then we headed for the reception for wine and cheese.  Caroline did not want to smile for pictures.  She said her tummy was hurting her and she wanted to go home.

She finally smiled and took a picture with her Daddy.
We thought that maybe Caroline would feel better after she ate dinner.  Jeff made the girls plates and Caroline tried her luck at eating bread.  After one bite, she threw up all over her and me.  I quickly took her outside and undressed her and put her in the car.  Jeff and I then took her back to the hotel.  I held a bag in front of her the whole way in case she got sick again.  Once we stopped at the hotel, I took the bag away to start to get her out of her seat.  Then she did it again, all of herself.  I quickly got her out of her carseat and took her into the hotel.  I got several strange looks since she was only wearing panties and we didn't smell so good.  I simply appologized and said she was sick.  One lady was so kind on the elevator making sure I got to my floor before she even thought about getting off on her floor.  Once we got in our room, I gave her a bath and let her watch TV while I cleaned out our dresses and the carseat in the bathtub.  She said she was feeling better a little while later and that she was hungry.  So, Jeff, Caroline, and I headed downstairs and ate dinner and hung out while we waited for the rest of the family to return from the reception.  Juliann had a great time dancing with everyone!
