Thursday night, we celebrated my Mom's and Uncle Jay's birthdays!The kids couldn't wait to taste the icing.
Friday, we headed back to Port Alto. We went across the bay to the point to see if we could find any starfish. This is the first time we have found starfish here. Everyone thinks it is because of the drought. Mom spotted two on the beach and Dad found one. They were still alive.

In this picture, you can barely see one of the starfishes arms sticking out of the sand.

It was so cool to hold them and see them move around.

Juliann found a hermit crab. They are everywhere, too.

My mom also found some pretty corral that had washed up on the beach.

Juliann liked feeling the water slap her hand as we rode in the boat.

The girls couldn't resist playing in the sprinkler.

We took Caroline on her first fishing trip. She didn't catch anything. She was more interesed in trying to put the pole in the water. Luckily, she didn't throw it overboard.

Juliann went fishing, too. She is just like me when it comes to fishing. We let everyone else fish and when they start catching something, we are ready to fish again.
