CHRISTmas Day

On Christmas morning, Juliann came into our room about 3:30. She was just standing there. I asked her if Santa had come and she said, "yes". I told her it was too early. She went potty and headed back to bed. She came back in our room at 7:00 ready to open gifts. We made her wait 30 minutes, since Caroline was still sleeping. She kept saying that Santa brought her a barbie house. She could tell, because there was a big present that looked like it. After our wait, we woke Caroline up and headed to see what Santa delivered. Caroline did not want to get up.

Juliann was right, Santa brought a barbie house.

He also brought them a castle they can color and play in.

Daddy bought the girls a B.B. gun. Juliann was so excited and kept talking about how she was going hunting with her Daddy and she was going to shoot something.

Caroline got a new Minnie Mouse costume. She was so happy because the one from Halloween that she wears daily was falling to pieces. This girl loves to dress up. I am not sure how many outfits/dress up clothes she puts on a day. Everyday, when I ask her what she wants to wear, she tells me "a pretty dress."

Juliann got a Doodle Bear from Caroline. She loves it and has been decorating it. She is excited because when she wants, we can wash it and she call start all over.

After opening gifts, we headed to Yaya and Papi's for a delicious brunch. After brunch, Juliann and I made Grandma Kaspar's famous sugar cookies. We had to carry on the tradition since Aunt Katie wasn't there to do it. We missed spending the day with Aunt Katie, Uncle Nathan, Uncle Doc, and Aunt Nikki.

Then we opened presents from Yaya and Papi. The girls were excited about their new see saw! We had to try it out.

Juliann and Drake got pogo sticks.

That evening, we enjoyed a yummy meal of prime rib roast, green bean bundles, and rosemary potatoes. It was a great day. We are looking forward to celebrating Christmas with Uncle Doc and Aunt Nikki on Sunday.
