Small Town Festivities

We have attended a couple of fun Christmas events in El Campo during the past couple of weeks. The Saturday after Thanksgiving, we headed to Evan's Park to see the train that came to town. We waited 45 minutes in the cold with Uncle Jay, Connor, and Papa to see the train. We did find a lolipop tree that helped passify some of the time.

All the excitement wore Caroline out. She feel asleep with her sucker in her mouth about 15 minutes before we were able to get on the train. She enjoyed her short nap and was not ready to get up to see the train cars.

We are almost there.

We took a couple quick pictures with Santa.

and after ...

The girls and Connor enjoyed looking at all the trains and decorations in the train cars.

Last week on Thursday, we took the kids to watch the annual Christmas parade. They loved it. The theme was Disney. Caroline was excited everytime she saw Mickey or Minnie Mouse. Juliann loved hollering aloud to anyone character she recognized. Connor loved all the trucks and tractors.
