Last Saturday, the girls participated in the annual Lil' Salties fishing tournament. This was Juliann's fourth year to fish and Caroline's first. We headed to Palacios with Papa and Meme to try our luck.
Caroline and Papa caught a croaker.
Juliann and I caught a dog fish. Yeah, each girl had a fish to weigh in. Caroline would tell you she had a big fish.
Juliann tried her luck in the casting contest.

The girls each received a trophy and a new fishing pole.

After the fishing tournament. Meme and Papa took the girls and I to the beach in Matagorda. The girls had fun playing and even made a new friend.
