Wharton County Youth Fair

The first Wednesday in May, we headed to Cresent to partake in all the fair festivities.  Juliann participated in Muttin' Bustin' that evening, and we couldn't wait to watch and support her.  The girls and their Daddy enjoyed riding some of the rides.  Caroline couldn't wait to go on the ferris wheel.
We saw Rylan and her Mommy and Daddy there too, enjoying the rides.
Daddy and Caroline rode on the hot air balloons.
Juliann enjoyed riding the race cars by herself.
Aunt Jen, Uncle Jay, Connor and Meme were also there.
Check out my cowgirls and there handsome Daddy.
Everyone loved the slides!

Then the girls got to drive the train all by themselves.  Caroline had a black eye.  She had fallen out of bed the Sunday before and we think she hit her eye on the nightstand.  She never really complained about it, but it lasted for two weeks.
At 6:30, we headed to the arena to watch Juliann participate in Muttin' Bustin'.  Yaya and Papi were there to support Juliann, too.  The goal was to try to ride a sheep for six seconds.  They each received a score based on their performance.
Juliann is fixing to get on the sheep.  I don't have any good pictures of her riding because the lighting was bad.  Jeff and Yaya did get videos.  We were so proud of Juliann.  She got on and rode the sheep for a few seconds before she fell off and rolled over backwards.  She walked off and didn't shead a tear.  We hope she will get a chance do it again, if she still meets the requirements.  The kids have to be 6-8 years old and weigh less than 60 lbs.
Juliann was excited about the medal that she received.
The girls enjoyed visiting the petting zoo with Yaya!
