Traveling Teachers

Last week on Wednesday, a few of the first grade teachers all got together for a little fun.  I was so glad they invited me, even though, technically I'm not a first grade teacher anymore.  That morning, we all met for breakfast then got in cars and headed towards Wimberly.  Our first stop was the Driftwood Winery for wine tasting.  While we were there we enjoyed the view and enjoyed some wine, cheese, and crackers.

We then tried to go to the place that they make Dripping Springs vodka, but they aren't open to the public.  So instead, we headed to the Duchman Winery down the road.  We enjoyed visiting with each other.
Afterwards, we walked over to the restaurant next door, Trattoria Lisinia, and had a delicious dinner.  It was a blast!  I look forward to more trips with these ladies.
