Monday, we headed to the beach for some sight seeing and shopping. This is a picture of the boardwalk. This is where we ended the race.
The picture below shows the sidewalk we ran our last mile of the race on. It was very curved back and forth and made for a very long end to the race.

A big wave got Katie when she was standing in the water.
After we left the beach, we headed to Broadway. Our first stop was Margaritaville. We enjoyed checking out the shops.
It was a very fun trip. I did miss my family while I was gone. I look forward to another destination run!!!
