That's a Wrap

Saturday, we took the subway to the Brooklyn Bridge.  I am thankful for Katie and Nikki figuring everything out for us and having an itinerary.

After walking on the Brooklyn Bridge, we walked to where the twin towers stood.
The girls were so excited I got to see Smurfette.  Caroline and Juliann wanted me to bring her home.  Everytime I called home, Caroline would ask me if I had found Smurfette yet.  When she saw this picture, she told me I better watch out for Gargamel.  I explained to her that Smurfette said she couldn't leave Papa Smurf.  So instead, Smurfette gave me a toy Smurfette for the girls to have.
We rode the Staten Island Ferry.  It was a beautiful day.  We got to see the Statue of Liberty when we rode the ferry.

Then of course, we did some more shopping.

That evening, we met some of Nikki's family and had another delicious dinner.  Since we were in NY, I had to have a NY Strip.
We celebrated Nikki's upcoming birthday.
Then we took a real taxi cab ride back to the hotel.

Sunday morning, we went to mass.  On the way we went by Rockefeller Plaza

Then the limo picked us up and took us to the airport to head home.
