The last weekend we had a hashing with our relay team. We all meet at our home. Then Lisa and I set off to be the hares. We laid a trail of flour for our teammates to follow. When the came to an "x", they had to decide which way to go. Our route went through the ditch below. But our teammates got off our trail and found an easier way back to the road.

Lisa ran and put out flour and I rode my bike because my leg/knee has been bothering me.
Our first stopping point was suppose to be at Emil's for a beer break. There was only one problem when we arrived - they closed!! So we had to improvise. Luckily there was a liquor store around the corner. I picked up a six pack and Lisa knew the lady that lived across the street so we hung out and waited for our teammates. A police officer watched us for a little while, probably wondering why we were covered in white dust and trying to figure out what we were doing.
Our teammate arrived and enjoyed their beverage. Lisa and I set out for our next stop at Friendship Park. It was lots of fun!! Here are our teammates - Charles, Susan, Katie and Jeff
I am looking forward to our 200 mile relay across Texas in a couple of weeks!!
