On Friday, St. Philip's had their Read-a-Thon awards ceremony. Juliann read 101 books and collected $300. She received a gift certificate to the movies, two free ice cream passes to the school ice cream parlor, a Mable Slabs ice cream party, and the movie party at school. They had a drawing for all the students that participated in the Read-a-Thon and gave away three prizes. The first prize was Mr. Read-a-Thon, a 7 ft. stuffed bear. Juliann won the second prize, a $100 gift card. Thank you to everyone who donated money!! She is planning on buying a TV to go into the playroom so that she can play the wii.
Sorry this picture is sideways... but, Caroline also participated in the Read-a-Thon. Everyone in the Pre-K class got a bag of candy and gets two trips for ice cream at school.
We are very proud of our girls!!
